- Does it invite participants and program/event leaders to act for themselves?
- Does it emphasize participation?
- Does it provide opportunities for participants/leaders to develop personally and spiritually?
- Will the net effect provide opportunities for more/different students to act as participants/leaders?
- Does it fall under one of the six areas of Student Activities (Fitness, Outdoor, Service, Social, Sport, Talent)?
- Is it safe and appropriate for BYU-Idaho (falls within Honor Code, values, safety standards and other campus policies)?
- Can sufficient facilities, equipment, budget and support personnel be made available?
- Can it be made to fit into the student leadership/organizational structure?
- Is there is a demonstrated demand/interest for the new program or event?
