Activities Proposal for New Events or Programs

You may desire to contact the advisor or student director from the appropriate area for suggestions and feedback prior to submitting this application.

 

New Event or Program Proposal Criteria

  1. Does it invite participants and program/event leaders to act for themselves?
  2. Does it emphasize participation?
  3. Does it provide opportunities for participants/leaders to develop personally and spiritually?
  4. Will the net effect provide opportunities for more/different students to act as participants/leaders?
  5. Does it fall under one of the six areas of Student Activities (Fitness, Outdoor, Service, Social, Sport, Talent)?
  6. Is it safe and appropriate for BYU-Idaho (falls within Honor Code, values, safety standards and other campus policies)?
  7. Can sufficient facilities, equipment, budget and support personnel be made available?
  8. Can it be made to fit into the student leadership/organizational structure?
  9. Is there is a demonstrated demand/interest for the new program or event?
