The Sports Program give students an opportunity to compete at their own comfort level in a wide range of sports or events.

Sports activities include (among many other things) Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, and many other student coached and lead events.

Volunteer Staff- Sports

Volunteer staff make up the largest group of students that help run Activities. Being a staff member is a great way to jump in and get involved, develop skills, meet people and help create exciting events and programs at BYU-Idaho. Volunteers work with managers who oversee the planning, organization and execution of specific events and programs. Student Manager- Sports

Currently accepting applications for Winter Semester 2010.

You've probably watched and participated in different activities on campus … now you can run them! Student Managers build and work with volunteer committees to run specific activities or events. Student Managers receive training, direction and guidance from other coordinators or directors, and then have the opportunity to "act" as they work with volunteer staff to pull events together. Student Coordinator- Sports

Currently accepting applications for Winter Semester 2010.

Though not involved in the tactical planning and execution of events, coordinators oversee specific programs in Activities and lead, train, counsel and help managers succeed as they run programs and events. There are coordinator positions available for Competitive sports and coordinator positions available by functions in Recreational sports.

Student Director- Sports

Currently accepting applications for Winter Semester 2010.

As a director, you'll have the opportunity to direct, teach, train, counsel, and provide vision to students who are building programs and events in Activities. In this position you'll learn, stretch, grow and also help grow others. Directors are members of the Student Activities Council, and work with each other to help the Activities Program reach its objectives.

The Sports director helps guide the efforts of coordinators for Competitive and Recreational sports as they lead managers in their areas.

Student Area Director- Sports

Currently accepting applications for Winter Semester 2010.

A Student Area Director oversees an entire area of Activities. Student Area Directors are primarily responsible for teaching, training and empowering the Student Directors in that area. They also meet with other Student Area Directors to Council about Activities-wide issues.
